- Abstract
- This brochure presents brief descriptions of awards made by the Division of Problem-Focused Research Applications (PFRA) during July 1, 1978 through September 30, 1978 and Fiscal Year (FY) 1978 awards made between October 1, 1977 and June 30, 1978. It describes how to obtain PFRA research findings and results and definitions and explanation of the format. The awards are divided according to subject area: ten awards are listed for alternative biological sources of materials, sixteen for chemical threats to man and his environment, fourteen for community water management, and 61 for earthquake hazards mitigation.
