- Abstract
- This is the second edition of Typical Costs for Seismic Rehabilitation of Buildings, and represents a marked improvement over the first edition that was completed in 1988. The second edition combines extensive data collection with a rigorous quality control process in the creation of an extended database of 2088 data points. Sophisticated regression analysis techniques were applied to these data points to extract major behavioral trends inherent in the data points that were then used to formulate three different cost estimation options. A method for computing a confidence range for such cost estimates was also developed. As in the case of the first edition, there are two volumes, Volume I contains a summary of the report and Volume II, this volume, the supporting documentation.
