Abstract
The objectives of the research project were to determine the basic failure modes, ascertain behavioral characteristics, and investigate anaytical properties for the analysis of full-scale precast, prestressed hollow-core plank diaphragms subjected to in-plane shear. Basic analytical features of interest include determination of the force-deflection relations, first major event load, limit state strength, ductility, stiffness, failure modes, and hysteretic behavior.
