Abstract
The objective of this study is to establish efficient, but accurate procedures for evaluation of the nonlinear seismic behavior of multi-degree-of-freedom (MDOF) structures including the probabilistic analysis of this behavior. The proposed procedures address, first, the current seismic-structure assessments that require-for a given ground-motion intensity-an estimation of in-structure demands such as global or local displacements, hysteretic energy, or damage indices.
