Abstract
National Institute of Standards and Technology's (NIST's) Building and Fire Research Program focuses on three thrusts: High Performance Materials and Systems for Constructed Facilities, Automation in Construction and Constructed Facilities, and Loss Reduction. In addition, Building and Fire Research Laboratory (BFRL) is supporting private and public activities to streamline regulatory precesses for constructed facilities and improve mechanisms for the evaluation and acceptance of innovative products and services.
